In 1931 Vittorio Jano designed a stunning supercharged 8 cylinder, 2300cc engine that powered
Alfa Romeo's Monza, Mille Miglia, Targa Florio, and Le Mans racers to wins throughout the 1930's.
  • over 470 metal components, including: water pipes, spark plugs, cast engine stands, pop-off valves, acorn nuts, intake screen, pedals, levers, bell cranks, control rods, gear lever and gate, brake lever, and over 100 tiny nuts and bolts.
  • 34 separate castings for the engine block halves, sump, cylinder head, cam covers, supercharger, manifolds, carburetor, starter, generator, distributor, coil, water and oil pumps, and more. 
  • accurate engine build plate and lubrication instructions on the cam covers.
  • cast bronze engine stands, solid oak base, engraved data plaque, custom case, and reference photos of the real engine.
