Pocher Gathering
Thank you to everyone who attended the Third Annual Pocher Gathering in Plantation, Florida on September 9, 2006. This year's event was presented and hosted by Marvin and Jorge of Model Motorcars. Modelers from the Netherlands, Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. told Pocher stories, compared techniques, and displayed their work (several including mine were works in progress). Jorge talked about Bugatti bodywork modifications, Marvin demonstrated the Sherline lathe and hydrogen soldering torch, gave clinics on leather upholstery and wire wheels, and hosted tours of a local museum and his own workshop on Sunday.
